Lovely as a gift for a new mother and baby or a Christening gift or, indeed, for all owl lovers. Unlike a lot of these style of carved owls they are not just stained and waxed but the feathers are subtly highlighted. It is handcarved from acacia wood also known as monkey pod or rain tree. This tree is prolific and is managed on plantations to sustain supply. As each item is individually carved there will be minor variations
