This sleeping Thai style Buddha is hand carved in Bali from Suar wood. Captured deep in sleep this carving exudes peace and tranquility. Suar wood is distinctive in it's two tone appearance and the grain will vary from almost white to a deep brown. Therefore all these carvings are unique. Your Buddha may differ from the picture slightly in facial features and the wood grain varies from carving to carving. Part of the appeal of this item is its hand-made nature. It is crafted in a natural product with hand tools in the traditional way. As such, please allow for minor imperfections in the wood.
