This beautiful horse's head is handcarved for us in Bali. The artist has cleverly captured a notoriously difficult animal to carve and the attention to detail is superb. The material used is a wood called Suar which has light and dark grain unique to each piece and each carving varies accordingly. The carving has been lightly waxed to enhance the wood.

Part of the appeal of this item is its hand-made nature. It is crafted in a natural product with hand tools in the traditional way. As such, please allow for minor imperfections in the wood. This adds to it’s authenticity, ensuring you have a genuine hand crafted item and NOT a generic, factory-manufactured product.
