We deal directly with the craftsmen and women of Northern Thailand to bring you these cute little turtles. Suitable for all age groups and particularly loved by kids. They make a great addition to any shelf or can be mounted on the wall easily. They are handcarved from acacia wood also known as monkey pod or rain tree. This tree is prolific and is managed on plantations to sustain supply. As each item is individually carved there will be minor variations
Part of the appeal of this carving is it's handmade nature. It is crafted using a natural product using hand tools in the traditional way. As such please accept that there may be minor imperfections and quirks in the wood and finish which add to it's authenticity and ensure you are not purchasing a generic, factory-made product.
Please note that Acacia wood varies considerably in colour from piece to piece. Therefore your turtles may be anything from a light creamy white wood right through to a rich dark brown. Each one is unique. If you have any preference please message when purchasing. For indoor decorative use only, this item is not a toy.
